buy a book!
If you’re wanting to find a copy of any of the books that I review or recommend here, or anytime you’re looking to buy books, I hope you’ll buy them from your local bookseller.
But if you don’t have a local, independent bookstore near you … or if you’d rather order a book online, right away, the lovely folks at (most of) these bookstores offer online or over-the-phone ordering. But be sure to get in touch with them directly to find out the best method of interacting with them. If you do order remotely, you’ll still be supporting a local, independent bookstore, even if it’s not in your own town. How’s that for a bookish win-win?
And whenever you find yourself close to one or more of these, be sure to stop in for a visit!
Here’s an alphabetical list of some of our favorite new, used, and new-and-used bookstores. (If you’d prefer, we’ve also arranged the list by city & state as well.) Be sure to check back here often, as we’ll continue to travel, visit fabulous independent bookstores, and add them to our list!
