Are you, like me, drawn to old libraries?
I’ll admit, my definition of “library” can be a bit loose.
Shelves and shelves of books are, of course, lovely. But to my mind, the only real requirement is a comfy, bookish space, with just enough light to read by.
If I’m in, say, a historic house and wander past, or through, a nook like the one below (at Dorney Court, in England), I’ll stop … linger … admire … even imagine what it would be like to settle into that comfy chair or sofa with a book.
Cozy, quiet spots are some of my absolute favorite places.
